The total sales for Eicher Trucks and Buses including exports for October 2013 stood at 3001 units as against 3,945 units in October 2012, registering 24% decline in sales. The domestic sales for October 2013 fall by 31% at 2,637 units against 3,830 units sold in October 2012. Exports witness a hike of 217% at 367 units for October 2013 against 115 units exported during October 2012.
The year to date sales for Eicher Trucks and Buses for calendar year 2013 reached 35,499 units, 13% less in comparison with same period of year 2012 where 40,665 units were sold. Domestic sales for January to October period for 2013 decline by 15% at 32,950 units against 38,745 units over the same period in 2012. The exports for the year stay 33% higher with 2,549 units against 1,920 units exported in the same period 2012.
