The sales numbers for Ford India for October 2013 stood at 14,935 units including domestic sales and exports against 10,948 units in October 2012, registering 36% growth.
Ford India’s domestic sales for October 2012 witnessed a healthy growth of 21% at 9,163 units sold, compared to 7,577 units sold during October 2012.
Ford India exported 5,772 vehicles in October this year, adding ten new export markets including Australia, Nicaragua, Honduras and Guatemala. This is an increase of 71 % compared to 3,371 units exported in October 2012.
The cumulative sales for April to October for financial year stood at 74,589 units, 17% higher than 63,630 units sold during the same period of previous financial year. Domestic sales for YTD FY 2013-14 grew by 4% at 50,828 units against 48,951 units sold during the same period of FY 2012-13. Exports marked 62% rise with 23,761 units against 14,679 units sold during same period of previous fiscal.
