– Commercial Vehicle: M&HCV – Decline by 12.41%, LCV sales showed 1.15%

  • Ashok Leyland is planning to launch new products, Partner and Mitr in LCV segment to capture significant market share. The company is planning to invest 400 crores in this segment and aim to be second largest LCV player by selling around 50,000 units in next 1.5 years
  • MAN Truck and Bus India appointed new CEO 
  • Bollywood Star, Akshay Kumar now brand ambassador of Tata Commercial Vehicle Business and started to promote its products from Jan 2017

– Inflation: On a monthly basis, consumer prices fell 0.15 percent
