Indian Truck Competitor Landscape:

Tata Motors’ market share increased by 1% after GST 2.0 was implemented. Ashok Leyland is also growing its market share.

Tata Motors launched a New model in the Mini Truck segment, Tata ACE+, with a 5.5 lakh diesel variant. Tata Motors has launched the Rigid Haulage LPT 812 with a 5T payload for multiple applications, such as e-commerce, Market load, Movers and packers, etc.

Electric Truck Market Share:

Tata Motors is a market leader in the Indian Electric Truck segment. However, due to new models launched by new players, Tata Motors lost 39% of its market share from January 2024 to September 2025.

Tata Electric Truck Sales and Euler Electric truck Sales

Euler Motor launched its new small electric truck, Euler Turbo EV 1000, which helped the company establish a presence in the small truck segment. IPL Tech, IBoard, Propel, SANY, and Switch Mobility are providing demos of their electric trucks at various customer sites, and deals are being discussed.

 The company also launched the Tata ACE Pro EV because Tata likes to maintain its leadership position in this segment. To support its vision on EV, Tata also installed 25,000 CHarging stations for its customers to support its EV buyers.

Montra Electric introduced a swappable battery in its 55T Tractor-trailer to make it suitable for long-distance transportation. Propal Electric Tipper delivered its tipper to a crusher application, and SANY Electric Truck delivered its TT to an E-Commerce Application.

Olectra Electric Tipper struggles to penetrate the electric truck segment due to its technical compatibility with truck applications and usage.

SANY Electric Truck sales are expected to rise because of the organization’s combined efforts and pricing. IBoard is still preparing the GTM strategy.

TI Clean Mobility is another player in this segment that is aggressive in capturing market share within a short period compared to its competitors.
