Mahindra Automotive Variants level Sales and Forecast

Mahindra Automotive Variants-level Sales and Forecast covered all Automotive segments, such as SUV, Truck, Bus, Three-Wheeler, and Construction Equipment.

27% of all Mahindra Automotive variants contributed 50% of sales in CY 2025. The XUV 700, Furio, Scorpio Thar, Jeeto MAXX, Alfa, and TREO come in various variants, and some are in demand for their price points, features, performance, and maintenance costs.

Mahindra registered more than 1,000 variants across its automotive segments in CY 2019. Post-COVID, Mahindra product planning has been optimized through the launch of new models across various segments. Mahindra registered (Retail sales) 956,337 units in CY 2025. The sales included SUVs, Pickups, Buses, Trucks, Mini Trucks, LCVs, electric three-wheelers, and Construction Equipment.

In the Heavy Duty Truck segment, Bulker is popular among fleet owners due to its suitability for cement and Fly Ash transport applications. The key reason is that, in this application, the Mahindra Tractor trailer has better mileage than other models.

Bolero is the leading Mahindra model, but not all Bolero variants are not top sellers; only 3 are customers’ preferred choices. It is because these 3 variants offer the best value and have greater competitive advantages.

This macro-level data shows that variant-level sales data is required to understand product-market fit.

The further Mahindra SML Isuzu acquisition required a sharp product, Brand, and Sales strategy to win the white space in the market. Product position is one of the key challenges for both companies.
