Tata Motors Sales increased by 5% in April 2015 compare to April 2014. It export registered 18% growth and total sales increased by 7%. This growth mainly driven from its M&HCV segment of commercial vehicle. In Passenger car segment, Company is trying once again to re enter in market with New GenX Nano. Recently Tata Motors entered in African market by launching its premium PRIMA range in Kenya. When Tata Motors entered into South African market it was successful entry but sales support became key issue for the company. Its Marcopolo brand is also in a demand in North African countries specially in Tourist application.
M&HCV is showing continuous growth while LCV segment is struggling. Tata Truck & Bus shown 21% growth but total sales down by 4%.
