The sales of Ashok Leyland for the month of May 2014 recorded 9% decline as 6,632 units were sold against 7,267 sold units sold in May 2013. The M&HCV sales declined by 1% in May 2014 at 4,884 units against 4,932 units sold during May 2014. The Light Commercial Vehicle segment witnessed 25% decline in sales as 1,748 units were sold in May 2014 against 2,235 units sold in May 2013.
The year to date sales for FY 2014-15 fell by 15% against the same period of FY 2013-14. M&HCV segment registered 8% drop in sales while LCV is at 32% decline.

Even the change of the management is not helping them.They need to revive the image of the products and distribution network need to be revived with the addition of the new young aggressive dealers.
