Bajaj Autos had witnessed their overall sales decline by 17% during the month of July 2013 as 391,350 units sold as against 469,651 units sold during July 2012. The year-to-date for financial year 2013-14 sales drop by 12% with 1,733,188 units against 1,964,267 units during same period of financial year 2012-13.
The two wheeler segment had witnessed a decline of 20% with 2, 46,828 units in July 2013 as against 308,858 units in July 2012. The year to date FY 2013-14 sales stood at 1,106,979 units as against 1,291,481 units in April-July period of FY 2012-13, registering 14% de-growth.
Exports went down by 12% in July 2013 at 110,023 units in July 2013 against 125,501 units in July 2012. The year to date exports in FY 2013-14 is 472,586 units as against 541,146 units in April-July period of FY 2012-13, registering 13% drop.
Three wheeler sales of Bajaj Auto stood at 34,499 units in July 2013 as against 35,292 units in July 2012, registering a decline of 2%. The sales for April-July period in FY 2013-14 were 153,623 units as against 131,640 units during same period of FY 2012-13, registering 17% growth
