Toyota Kirloskar Motor's December 2013 sales suffered 12% de-growth at 12,622 units compared to 14,378 units in December 2012. The domestic sales for December 2013 declined by 12% as 10,648 units were sold as compared to 12,071 units in December 2012.
The 1,974 exports units of Ethios series marked 14% decrease against 2,307 units exported during the same month of previous year.
Mr. Sandeep Singh, Deputy Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer, Marketing and Commercial said “The market sentiments do not seem to be improving. In the last few months we have made our best efforts to control inventory both at TKM and at our dealers end.We thank our customers for their support and look forward to serving them with Toyota's quality services . Toyota Kirloskar Motor’s sale dropped by 12%,as the company is doing good in few products i.e Toyota Innova and Fortuner only and others are piling up in the inventory,needs to adjust with market sutiation,as the company is number one in product quality system,the price is the major issue for other products and minior adjustment in the technical specification.
