Honda Cars India Ltd registered a sales growth of 75% during June 2014 by selling 16,316 units as against 9,297 units sold during June 2013.


The company sold 40,718 units from April – June’14 as against 29,127 units sold during the same period last year, marking a growth of 40%. HCIL also exported a total volume of 739 units during June 2014.

Expressing delight on the company’s performance Mr. Jnaneswar Sen, Sr. Vice President – Marketing &Sales, Honda Cars India Ltd. said, “We extend our gratitude to the customers for the continuing success of Honda Amaze and All new City and are confident that we will continue to do well in respective segments. Currently, we are very excited about the upcoming launch of our stylish 7 seater Honda Mobilio at the end of this month and are confident that it will attract Indian consumers with its strong desirable values.”

  4. Good Article. Honda City shows superb response. Continuous improvement of Honda City, did pay off. Honda Amaze was released only in April 2013, so response in June 2013 is acceptable. Now its a well established Car in Indian Market.
