The sales of Ashok Leyland declined by 21% in April 2014 as 5,897 units were sold against 7,487 sold units in April 2013. The M&HCV sales declined by 14% in April 2014 sales at 4,523 units against 5,251 units sold during April 2013. The Light Commercial Vehicle segment witnessed 39% decline in sales as 1,374 units sold in April 2014 against 2,236 units sold in April 2013.

VECV Eicher Sales Overview

Eicher Trucks and Buses recorded total sales of 3,434 units in April 2014 against 3,917 units in April 2013, registering de-growth of 23%. The domestic sales for the month in review were 2,791 units which drop by 26% as compared against 3,766 units sold in February 2013. Exports for the month stood at 643 units against 151 units in April 2013.
