While the immediate turnaround in the auto Industry is not expected without certain policy corrections and support, the worst seems to be over. At Mahindra we continue to focus on customer centricity and do hope that the new year will bring in the much needed cheer for the Auto Sector”.

  1. M & M Ltd needs to step-up in house effective R&D area as well as market entry price for XUV 500,last three to four year back there was no competitor in domestic market and the advantage was in favor of M&M Ltd,no sooner the tie broke with Renault, the market is flooded with various choices i.e.,Duster, Eco sport and now Nissan SUV where M&M Ltd is not nearer to the price , performance and the design.Hence M&M Ltd must needs to look in this area apart from Customer Relations to get back the sales.

  3. “I think no need to hit the panic button,It is always like that in Dec due to mfg date model issue.Above else i think the retail / wholesales business is already inflated ,It will have corrections in coming months.means it will have DE-growth phase.Going by number ,I remember Nov 2013 Honda sales figure were up by 117% suddenly the drop of 50% almost is testimony of same. Its market behavior.I think one need to take humble approach going forward.”
