The total sales for Hyundai Motor India Ltd (HMIL) for February 2014 including exports stood at 46,505 units against 54,665 units sold in February 2013, registering 15% growth.

The domestic sales were stable at 34,005 units in February 2014, against 34,002 units sold during the same month of previous year. The company exported 12,500 units in February 2014, registered 40% drop in comparison with 20,663 exports units for February 2013.

Commenting on the sales Mr. Rakesh Srivastava, Sr VP- Sales & Marketing, HMIL said, “Year 2013 was very challenging and rewarding. With December retails of 45,911 units, Hyundai achieved its Annual Business Plan and highest Market Share since inception. Manufacturing operated at 99 percent capacity utilization and had the fastest 5 Million rollout in India.
