General Motors India sold 5,557 vehicles in January 2014

General Motors India has sold 5557 vehicles in the month of January 2014 against 7588 units sold in the corresponding period last year, representing 27% drop. These include 1778 units of Beat, 1217 units of Sail and 1,098 units of Chevrolet Enjoy.

Commenting on the January sales, Mr. P. Balendran, Vice President, General Motors India said, “The general economic scenario continues to remain muted and we do not expect any revival to happen in the short term. We hope the Auto Expo to bring some excitement to the market to improve customer sentiments.”
