BMW Group sales continues to remains positive through the month of October as they registered 5.2% growth with 165,851 units sold worldwide against 157,621 units sold during the same month of previous year. The group sales witnessed a new all time height of 7.3% growth at 1,602,018 vehicles sold against 1,493,154 vehicles sold during the same period of previous year.
Sales of BMW grew by 5.4% at 140,057 vehicles sold against 132,826 units sold during the same month of previous year. In the first ten months of the year, The year to date (Jan-Oct) sales stood at 1,349,642 vehicles against 1,242,819 units during corresponding period of previous year registering a growth of 8.6%.
For October 2013, MINI reported all-time sales high of 25,420 vehicles worldwide against 24,483 units during October 2012, registering 3.8% growth.
The year to date sales for year 2013 stood at 249,702 cars worldwide against 247,697units sold during the same period of year 2012 representing 0.8% growth.
BMW Motorrad reported 10.3% increase in October with 8,376 units sold against 7,596 units sold during October 2012. A total of 101,530 motorcycles and maxi scooters were delivered year-to-date in year 2013 against 93,540 units during same period of previous year, representing 8.5% hike.
BMW Group sales in Europe remained stable for January to October. In Asia the sales grew by 17.7% with encouraging growth in China at 20% year-on-year. In the Americas, the BMW Group achieved 10.6% growth in sales.
