The sales of Ashok Leyland had witnessed heavy downfall by 27% in the month of November as 5,375 units were sold against 7,370 units in November 2012. The M&HCV registered 39% decrease in sales at 2,715 units against 4,487 units sold during November 2012. The Small Commercial Vehicle segment which includes Dost and Stile records 2,660 sales units for November 2013; 8% less than 2,883 units sold in November 2012.
The cumulative year-to-date sales for April to November period for financial year 2013-14 stood at 57,019 units, registered 22% de-growth as against 72,691 units sold during the same period of previous financial year. Year to date sales of M&HCV sales stood at 37,628 units for FY 2013-14 against 50,862 units sold during the same period of FY 2012-13, registering 26% de-growth. The sales of Small Commercial Vehicles (Dost & Stile) for YTD FY 2013-14 registers 11% decline with 19,391 units against 21,829 units sold during the same period of previous financial year.
