Honda Cars sold 14,428 vehicles in domestic market in December 2014 with a impressive growth of 163% compare to 5,493 units in the December 2013. The export units stood at 621 vehicles during December which is around 10250 jumped compare to last year of the same month 2014. Total sales stood at 15,048 units in December 2014 with striking growth of 174%.
Honda is continuing driving sales growth in December 2014. Amaze has also improved its performance by selling 5,176 units with 16% growth compare to last year of the same month. Its hatchback car which is in in small segment noted 9% growth and CRV SUV sales down by 69%. Newly launched MUV Honda Mobilio crossed 2,000 units in December 2014. Honda city completely changed the sales figure of Honda, It is one of the best Sedan car in India. Its features and value for money is amazing.
In 2014, March 2014 was the best month for company, it registered 26% sales growth compare to Feb 2014. Q4 of the year 2014 was mixed.
In 2014, it registered 67% growth by selling 179,816 units compare to 107,661 units in 2013. In FY 2014-15 (April – Dec) registered 53% sales growth.
Global Overview:
In November 2014, USA was the top country for Honda in production of vehicles, China and Japan stood at number 2 and 3.Asia region was the most attractive for Honda cars, In North America also it registered 28% growth.
