The total sales for Tata Motors for the first quarter 2013-14 stood at 1, 65,001 units as against 1, 60,321 units during the same period of last year, thus recording a 2% growth.

Passenger Vehicles 


In passenger vehicle segment the a total of 24,508 units were sold during Q1 FY 2013-14 as against 60,405 units in Q1 FY 2012-13 registering a 42.87% de-growth. The car segment including Nano, Indica and Indigo marked 44.58%, while utility segment sales went down by 35.04%.

Commercial Vehicles

The commercial vehicle segment has recorded a 7.34% growth boosted by the sales of LCV segment. A total of 10,248 units were sold during the first quarter of financial year 2013-14 as against 99,916 units sold during the same period of 2012-13. The LCV segment marked a 16.93% growth while M&HCV segment declines at 10.50%.
