In November 2014, Maruti Suzuki has shown positive sales growth in Cars, Multi Utility Vehicle and Vans.This trend expected to be continue with launch of Alto K10 and Ciaz. New product launch and product up gradation is the key strategy to keep it market leader position in passenger vehicle segment. Domestic sales grew slightly by 17% for Nov 2014 at 100,024 units against 85,509 units sold in November 2013. The exports for the month growth by 52% with 10,123 units against 6,630 units for November 2013.

The Cumulative sales for April to Nov period of FY 2014-15 stood at 835,912 units against 739,246 units sold during the same period of previous year, registering 13% growth. Domestic sales for the period in review were 755,423 units which grew by 13% as compared to the same period of FY 2013-14.

There is new trend in Indian car Industry, Small car segment is shifting towards mid size, Maruti small segment has registered 8% de growth and 13.9% growth in Economy compact segment.

Sales for Cars during April to November period of FY 2014-15 registered 11% growth against the same period of previous fiscal. Sales of Van segment grew by 31% while Utility Vehicles/MUV registered 11% growth for April-November period of FY 2014-15 against same period of previous year.
