Ford India sales grew by 13% in the first half of FY 2013-14
The sales of Ford India including exports stood at 14,217 units in September 2013 registering 51% growth in comparison with September 2012 sales of 9,418 units. The cumulative sales for Ford India in the first half of fiscal year 2013-14 stood at 59,654 units against 52,682 units during same period of previous financial year, registering 13% growth.
The domestic sales accounts for 10,640 units in September 2013, compared to 7,794 units in September last year, recording a 37% increase. The domestic sales increase by 1% in April-September of FY 2013-14 at 41,665 units as against 41,374 units during the April-September period of FY 2012-13.
Exports grew by 120% for the month of September 2013 and stood at 3,577 units against 1,624 units in September 2012. The exports for the HY FY2013-14 posts healthy growth of 59% at 17,989 units against 11,308 units during same period of FY 2012-13.
