Dost Stays Put but Commercial Vehicle Sales Stumble for Ashok Leyland

Ashok Leyland commercial vehicle's sales in India declined by 16% for the month of May 2013 as against May 2012. The sales excluding the figures of Dost show a steep downfall of 22% for the month of May as against 2012, while the YTD sales had gown down by 21%. The sales for Dost remains flat for mtm and ytd for May 2013.

As for portfolio segment share Dost improved their contribution from from 27 to 32 percentage as on May for this financial year while the rest of CV segment contributes 68%.
