The cumulative sales of Maruti including exports for the month of June 2013 register 1% increase with 83,299 units sold against 82,234 units sold during July 2012. The year-to-date sales for the financial year 2013-14 stood at 349,733 units as against 378,130 units sold during the same period of previous financial year registering an 8% DE-growth.
Weak economies had pulled down the exports as they stood at 8154 units in July 2013 , registering 27% fall against 11,210 units during July 2012. The year-to-date exports also registered 33% fall for fy 2013-14 with 29,242 units as against 43,842 units in same period of previous financial year.
Domestic Sales
The domestic car sales had grown by 11% for Maruti during the month of June 2013 with 63,040 units as against 53,851 units July 2012. Considerable decline is seen in the utility vehicle sales as they fall by 37% in July 2013 as compared against July 2012. The total domestic sales for July registered 6% rise while the year to date sales for fy 2013-14 grow by 4% as against same period of previous fy 2012-13.
Car-Segment Breakup
For the month of July 2013, the sales of DZire increased considerably by 34% as against July 2012. While SX4 is the weak performer as their sales fall by 53%.
