The total sales for Bajaj auto for August 2013 including exports stood at 312,198 units against 344,906 units in August 2012 registering 9% decline. Motorcycles sales decline by 8% for August 2013 with 278,593 units sold against 304,352 units in August 2012. Three wheeler sales were 33605 units in August 2013 against 40,554 units during the same month of previous year.
The cumulative sales for Bajaj Auto year to date stood at 1,572,790 units for April to August FY 2012-13 against 1,768,027 units during same period of previous year, registering 11% de-growth. Sales of motorcycles drop by 13% during April to August period of FY 2013-14 and stood at 1,385,562 units against 1,595,833 units during same period of previous financial year. Three wheeler sales recorded 9% growth during the period.
