Bajaj Auto, sold 386,017 units in domestic market in October 2014 with a minor growth of o.2% even during festive season%. The company sold 158,547 units in the October 2013 with impressive growth of 158,547 units due to favorable export market and product position.
From April-October 2014, Bajaj sold 2,430,029 units in October 2014 as against 2,325,928 units sold in October 2013, recording a growth of 4%. The sales for motorcycles for the period up by 3% while Three Wheeler declined by 19%.
Yamaha registers 5% growth in October 2014:
Yamaha sold 54,362 units in domestic market in October 2014 with a growth of 5%. The company sold 51,808 units in the October 2013.
