Toyota sold 9,160 units in March 2014 compared to 21,143 units in March 2013, registering heavy decline of 57%. In the domestic market TKM sold 8,206 units in Mar 2014 as compared to 19,452 units in Mar 2013. The company exported 954 units of Etios series last month.
Mr. N Raja, Senior Vice – President, Sales and Marketing said “We started limited operations from March 18, 2014, with the help of our non – unionized team members, majority of whom are supervisors.”
The total sales for the financial year 2013-14 stood at 156,059 units against 181,858 units sold in FY 2012-14, recording a 14% decline.
