Bajaj Auto, sold 386,017 units in domestic market in October 2014 with a minor growth of o.2% even during festive season%. The company sold 158,547 units in the October 2013 with impressive growth of 158,547 units due to favorable export market and product position.
From April-October 2014, Bajaj sold 2,430,029 units in October 2014 as against 2,325,928 units sold in October 2013, recording a growth of 4%. The sales for motorcycles for the period up by 3% while Three Wheeler declined by 19%.
Yamaha registers 5% growth in October 2014:
– During festive season Yamaha has given attractive offers.
– To make more attractive of its product portfolio, it added a ‘Alpha’, new variants under the FZ series with our latest ‘Blue Core’ technology along with Fuel Injection – FZ Version 2.0, FZ-S Version 2.0 and Fazer Version 2.0 ,new variants under the SZ series – SZ-RR with Blue Core Technology. Adding new product mix has impact positive on its sales.
