In November 2014, Hero registered growth of 0.1% compare to Nov 2013. The close competitor of Hero and strong player Honda registered 15.4% growth compare to last year of same month. TVS,Yamaha also showed double digit growth. Bajaj and Suzuki has shown negative growth. Mahindra Two wheeler which sent some positive signal in 2013 by registering impressive growth in Bike segment could not keep it consistently. In November 2014, its de growth is approximate 50%. Motorcycle Sales Overview in India Premium bike manufacture Triumph started to show its presence by selling 135 units in November 2014 and Kawasaki has sold 131 units. Kawasaki entered in to Indian market with Bajaj Auto, it was well know as "Bajaj Kawasaki". The USP of the bike was unmatched mileage and its look. Bike market in India and market share Hero MotoCorp gained around 1% market share in November 2014. Honda market share is almost flat of 16%. Bajaj has lost more than 3% market share, TVS gained more than 1%, Yamaha gained minor market share, Royal Enfield has gained 1.2% market share, Mahindra lost around 1.3%, Suzuki, Harley Davidson, Triumph, Kawasaki are gainer in November 2014. Indian scooter market share 2014 Indian Scooter is growing market, it registered 26% growth in running month compare to November 2013. Honda has grepped the market with 32% growth and stay on market leader position. Due to right product position and mix, TVS Motor showed 67% growth, Hero MotoCorp 14%, Mahindra has also posted 4% growth, Yamaha posted around 2% and Suzuki registered negative growth in Indian Two wheeler market in Nov 2014. Indian Scooter market share in 2014 The Luxury, premium and low price bike segment would be attractive in coming up years. Some super luxury bike manufactures are also planning to come to India. Indian market is expecting attractive growth in more than 180cc bike segment. Recently  the Petrol price has reduced  more than couple of times which is positive buying factor for Indian Two Wheeler market.Currently which is dominated by Bajaj Pulsar Indian manufactures are trying to more and more market share in overseas market. Some of them like Bajaj is having Joint venture for few overseas market with Kawasaki. Hero is mainly focus on technology partner and branding activities along with new product innovations. Recently Hero MotorCorp has signed Global Partnership agreement with world famous Golf player Tiger Woods by aiming to reach around 50 countries by 2020.   2. Bajaj looks to be focussing on exports more rather than the domestic market. Mahindra 2 wheelers was once on a roll with the “High End Commuter” centuro, however, it seems that the commuter has lost its shine. Mojo was to be introduced donkey years back but dont know what people at Mahindra 2 Wheelers are doing with that product. Honda again is growing on the back of Activa & the new Neo series. The neo is here to impact sales of Splendor-Passion duo, watch out Hero Moto Corp!!
