Eicher Trucks and Buses sold 3150 units in July-2013 as against 3602 units sold in July-2012, registering a decline by 13%. The year-to-date sales for FY 2013-14 stood at 14,056 units as compared to 15,466 units for same period of FY 2012-13, recording a decline of 9%.
The domestic sales declined by 17% for July 2013 with 2915 units sold as against 3492 units in July 2012. The year-to-date sales for FY 2013-14 stood at 14,056 units against 15,466 units during the same period of 2012-13, registering 10% drop in sales.
In the Heavy Duty truck segment (16T and above), the sales stand at 469 units as compared to 562 units in July 2012, representing a 17% drop. The segment witnessed 29% reduction in year-to-date sales for FY 2013-14 with 1758 units sold as against 2468 units sold during same period of previous financial year.
The sales of LMD trucks (5-14T) fell by 11% in July 2013 where sales were 1790 units as compared to 2001 units in July 2012. The year-to-date sales for FY 2013-14 stood at 7514 units registering 11% fall as in comparison with same period of previous financial year.
The sales of bus for the month of July dropped by 20% for Eicher with 656 units as against 929 units in July 2012. The year-to-date domestic sales of Eicher branded buses in FY 2013-14 increased by 7% at 3,989 units sold as against 3712 units sold in FY 2012-13.
