Eicher registers 11% decrease for September 2013 sales
The total sales for Eicher Trucks and Buses including exports for September 2013 stood at 2,803 units as against 3,150 units in September 2012, registering 11% decrease of sales. The domestic sales in September 2013 were 2,361 units against 3,026 units sold in September 2012, registering 22% decline. Exports were 442 units against 124 units exported during September 2012, registering 256% increase.
The cumulative sales of Eicher Trucks and Buses for calendar year 2013 reached 32,454 units, 12% less on comparison with same period of year 2012 where 36,720 units were sold. Domestic sales for January to September period for 2013 stood at 30,313 units against 34,915 units over the same period in 2012, registering 13% decline. The exports accounts for 2,141 units against 1,805 units in 2012, registering 19% growth.
