VECV's Eicher Trucks and Buses sold of 3302 units in June 2013 including exports as compared to 4064 units in June 2012, representing a drop of 18.8%. The Year- to-Date sales for calendar year 2013 stood at 23294 units as compared to same period of previous year where sales was 26059 units recording a decline of 10.61%.
In the domestic Market Eicher sales were 3090 units in June 2013 as against 3767 units in June 2012, recording a de-growth of 17.97%. The year-to-date sales in domestic market for calendar year stay at 22,280 units against 24,685 units during same period last year marking a 9.74% decline.
The total sales of Trucks in domestic market witnessed a 21.52 % decrease in June 2013 as against June 2012 while the Year- to-Date sales for calendar year 2013 saw a 15.59 % decrease as compared with same period of 2012. Even though the June sales declined for Bus segment by 8.8%, the Year- to-Date sales for calendar year 2013 grow by 14.3%.
